International Relationship

*Xi Jinping met New Zealand Premier on June 27th whom stated to work together to start a new 50-year relationship between the two countries and promote the steady development of China-New Zealand comprehensive strategic partnership.

 

Industrial Economy

*Ministry of Finance and State Administration of Taxation jointly stated to strengthen the promotion and guidance of policies to extend and optimize the purchase tax reduction and exemption for NEV.

*The Ministry of Education issued a notice to deploy the work of managing off-campus training in the summer of 2023 which pointed out to strictly prevent summer discipline training institutions from opening classes in violation of regulations and non-disciplinary training institutions carrying out.

*The total number of 5G base stations in China has reached 2.844 million, achieving "county-to-county 5G", said by vice president of China Academy of Information and Communication.

*MIIT issued regulations on the division of radio frequencies of the PRC and will be officially implemented from July 1st, which took the lead in dividing the 6GHz band globally for 5G/6G systems.

*Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development: Improve housing quality, explore the establishment of a housing pension system, further expand cooperation between housing and urban-rural development fields and financial institutions, accelerate the construction and delivery of residential projects that have already been sold overdue and difficult to deliver.

*The EPC general contracting of the 4GW photovoltaic off-grid hydrogen production project was terminated. The bidding agency responded that there should be another bidding process after the project is suspended.

*JINKOSOLAR、LONGI、TONGWEI and other nine leading photovoltaic component companies have unified the standard size of rectangular silicon wafers.

* Commodities (night session):

* Global crude oil price moved down collectively. August NYMEX crude oil contract down 1.93% to closed at $68.03/b, September Brent contract down 1.96% to closed at $72.89/b. INE crude oil active contract down 1.90% to 531.7 yuan/b.

* Precious metals closed down collectively. COMEX gold contract down 0.54% to closed at $1923.3/oz. SHFE gold active contract down 0.64% and closed at 446.86 yuan/gram.

* Metals closed up mostly, LME nickel up 2.63%, LME tin up 2.4%, LME aluminum up 2.05%, LME zinc up 1.8%. SHFE tin up 1.64%, SHFE aluminum up 0.61%, bonded copper and SHFE copper down 0.59% and 0.51% on the contrast.

* Commodity futures closed up mostly. Chemistry and energy products closed up collectively, MEG up nearly 1%. Black series closed up collectively, iron ore up 1.85%, coke up 1.72%, coking coal up nearly 1%. Agricultural products moved down mostly, No.2 soybeans down 1.99%, rapeseed oil down 1.63%, rapeseed meal down 1.48%.
